From Belmopan...
That rain we had last night, 13.8mm ( 1/2" ) was unexpected. It appears to have been caused by that clash I mentioned last night between the Caribbean air and the west wind coming, with another cold front. Actually I can see that front line of cloud that came over during the night and is now out in the sea and moving away. Presently, there is a strong WSW surface wind.
Today looks as if it will be sunny, particularly as the clouds from the WNW thin out, so probably no more rain.
