This year has started of like a roller coaster, going through temperature extremes.
Last year started of running fairly close to average, but the last 3 months just got higher and higher compared to the normal average cooling into the winter, so this year started off way above the average. . . . But by the end of January our weather had cooled down close to the average. But the last few weeks have been up and down through extremes. On the right graph, you can see the patterns over the last 4 years.
The thin Red and Blue lines are the actual Daily max and min temperatures in Belmopan.
The heavy Red and Blue lines are the 31 day running Averages, to make it easier to see the trends.
The Green is just a smoothed Median between max and min.
( The left graph heavy lines can only show actual daily temperatures over the last 15 days and ±15 day averages during the early part of January. )
