Belize Weather Forecast: March 19, 2016

General Situation:
Belize NMS: Seasonably warm and dry weather will prevail during the next 24 hours or so and then a cold front will approach late on Sunday and cross the country on Sunday night. This cold front will affect weather conditions over the area during the next few days.
Advisories: None.
24-hour forecast: Mostly sunny today, partly cloudy skies tonight and mostly sunny skies tomorrow. Little or no rainfall is expected.
Winds: East - southeast 5-15 knots.
Marine Forecast:
Today: Winds: E-SE 5-15 kts.; seas: Choppy - moderate.; waves: 3-5 ft.; little or no rainfall.
Tomorrow: Winds: E-NE 5-15 kts.; seas: Choppy - moderate.; waves: 3-5 ft.; only isolated showers.
Marine Outlook: Sunday night:- Winds: North 15-25 kt with occnl higher gusts.; seas: Rough.; waves: 5-8 ft.; some showers and thunderstorms.

General Outlook: Conditions will continue generally fair and warm with only isolated showers on Sunday morning. Skies will then become increasingly cloudy with some showers and thunderstorms affecting mainly inland and northern areas on Sunday afternoon and then spread to most areas on Sunday night.
Tropical Weather Outlook: Tropical cyclone formation is not expected during the next 48 hours in the North Atlantic, the Caribbean Sea or Gulf of Mexico.

Caribbean Forecast: A cold frontal boundary will stretch across the southeastern corner of the United States, the Gulf of Mexico and central Mexico on Sunday. As this frontal system digs south southeastward, it will generate widespread rain and thunderstorms across southeast Mexico, the Yucatan Peninsula, Guatemala, Belize, Honduras, El Salvador, the Cayman Islands, Cuba and The Bahamas.

OP Marty	From Belmopan... Generally clear sky last night resulted in Fog this morning. We are getting a new batch of high level Pacific air, now from the West. There is also other air with some cloud, coming up from the South, this is associated with outflow from ITCZ swell-ups down near Panama. There is little or no Caribbean wind at present, but that will pickup from the East later. Looks like today will be largely sunny, after the fog has cleared, then white puffy clouds later, no rain. Temperatures in Belmopan: Today is probably going to be Approximate, to yesterday : Fri, max. 32°C 90°F Last night min. 24°C 75°F ( Coast usually cooler, hills even cooler )
