Last night on CBS the FICTIONAL show "Criminal Minds, Beyond Borders" featured an episode which happened in San Pedro, Belize. Only problem (besides the terrible story line) was beaches like Aruba; an American Consulate on the Island; mountains in back ground; a car chase on highways; everyone driving cars and a very large host of other inaccuracies. What a terrible show. More a comedy for anyone who has ever even spent 5 minutes reading about San Pedro.

Boy has TV really sunk to this level? Whoever the writer of this episode was, he should be shown the door. If you want a laugh who can watch it on the internet but it has almost nothing of reality in it. San Pedro should sue them for slander. wink

The recent show Mad Dogs was also supposed to take place in Belize but was shot in Puerto Rico. I looked up the Criminal Minds show in IMDB and apparently it was shot in LA. I wish these producers who want to have story lines in Belize would pony up some money and film in Belize. Or at least find locals that look a *little* bit like Belize!

Disappointing.
