From Belmopan...
Despite last night being a little bit cooler than previously, I felt hotter, was that just me or something to do with there being cloud cover and no wind. ? . . . . There was a large, very significant ITCZ swell-up on the Mexican/Guatamala border, which kept swelling up and each new swell-up moved further west, yet I did not see any rain on the radar, perhaps there was further west in Mexico. The main ITCZ activity is further south, in the Pacific, north of Panama now. I cant make out what that cold front is about, it does not correlate with the "Surface Temperature picture.
Looks like today will be a continuation of recent, hot, muggy, significant clouds and some sun, probably no rain.
Although often we have small "April Showers" we have had very little so far, but then we can have "May it pours" meaning we can get some sort sharp and heavy rains in May. . . . The Rainy season often starts the last week in May.
