From Belmopan...
Overcast conditions this morning, over much of the country, due to several flare-ups in Mexico over night. Some of these produced a lot of rain in parts of Mexico and some in Guatamala, but only small, isolated patches in Belize. This is from the high level cloud coming down from WNW over Mexico, not yet the ITCZ activity from the Pacific near Panama, that at present, is still a long way off. I am making a wild guess here and saying the actual, real rainy season may start a bit late this year, in June, not late May as more typical.
Looks like today will start off cloudy, but become sunny with white clouds later, only the odd chance of rain.
