Hey all

My old man and I have been talking about making a trip down to Ambergris in October to fish for bones. He's more into the bow time on skiffs. I'm more into doing my own thing. He wants to stay at El Pescador. I'm okay with it, but I don't want to be stuck on the bow of a skiff the whole time I'm there. I've done some reading and google earthing, and there seem to be some flats in the area nearby where you can wade, but info online is spotty. Can anyone here shed some light on whether I'd be able to have some success wading and fishing on my own. Feel free to PM me. I understand keeping things off the Google superhighway.

Thanks in advance.

You can wade the flats for miles north of El Pescador. Watch for fins on the incoming tide.
