From Belmopan...
I am not entirely sure what happened over night. That bubble of tropical ITCZ active air that was reacting with the Caribbean air and causing a lot of rain in the Caribbean and moving up towards Florida, got as far as touching Cuba. Then there were massive ITCZ flare-ups in Honduras, Guatamala, Yucatan and much of southern Mexico, causing large areas of heavy rain all around us. But that bubble of ITCZ active in the Caribbean has broken up, lost its active nature, it is as if it transferred to that in Mexico, although there is no indication or trace of any such transfer. All that activity left Belize pretty clear of rain, just a few odd places, some in the southern mountains. It has left some high cloud over Belize, which is thinning and a few odd scattered rain, some offshore near Monkey river, which is expanding.
Looks like today, for Belize will be similar to yesterday, sunny with white clouds, some chance of rain in the south and mountains.
