San Pedro's International Costa Maya Festival is the only festival of its kind in Central America. It is the biggest festival in Belize, as well as the highlight of Ambergris Caye's entertainment year. August 4 to Sunday, August 6, 2016
Thursday - August 4th is Pageant Night with eight beautiful contestants from Central America & Mexico vying for the title of Miss Costa Maya 2016!
Friday - August 5th is Caribbean Night with International Soca Queen Alison Hinds performing her soca classics to get you dancing and prepared for this year's September Celebrations!
Saturday - August 6th is International Night with Mexican Super Stars Super Lamas Band playing their catchy tunes like "Yo Quiero Chupar"!
Get Ready to Wine with Alison Hinds at Costa Maya Festival 2016
Just when everybody was starting to ask if there was going to be a San Pedro International Costa Maya Festival this year, the festival committee steps up to announce the participation of Soca Queen Alison Hinds as a featured entertainer. Costa Maya Festival 2016 has been set to take place from August 4 to August 6 with three days of high-powered entertainment.
Friday, August 5, will ignite with the stellar and high energy performance of Alison Hinds, British-born female soca artist based in Barbados. She is one of the most popular soca singers in the world and has been given the nickname the "Queen of Soca". Alison was the lead singer of Square One, has collaborated with Kevin Lyttle, Machel Montano, Shaggy and Jah Cure, and made a huge hit with her own singles 'Roll It Gal' and 'Faluma'.
Saturday, August 6, will be infused with a Latin flavor as grupo Super Lamas, from Veracruz, Mexico, will set the stage for live entertainment with its top hit and local sensation 'Yo Quiero Chupar'.
