Large areas of rain went over Belize over night, mainly the northern half but some south of PG. There is more behind that, but it looks as if most of it is drying up before it gets to Belize.
The Atlantic wet clouds have been swinging up north, towards Florida, unusual, and are then being brought down over Cuba towards Belize, by the general northerly air movement, that brought rain to the Yucatan. Meanwhile, the Honduras & Nicaraguan ITCZ swell-up outpouring is going towards the east, into the southern Caribbean away from Belize.
Looks like today will be a mixture of sunshine and clouds, some heavy and a chance of rain showers.
