From Belmopan...
That cloud and weather coming down from Florida, has really now pushed the high level cloud away. It was the clash between the Florida weather from the NE against the high level that cause all that rain last night. Bur right now it has pushed the rain well away from Belize. The Atlantic weather INVEST 97L still does not appear to be rotating to me, it is soon going to be coming into the eastern Caribbean, but there is other high level air movement in front of it, which may well push it up northwards. The other, potentially more active INVEST 96L is just coming on to the NOAA satellite picture. That one we have to watch, it is better developed and concentrated and I think I can see possible rotation, but the weather people are not sure where it will go, looks like they think it will fizzle out, but I think it is too soon to be sure.
Looks like today will be mainly sunny, with only a very small chance of isolated rain showers, if any.
