Is the Palapa bar still open in front of the Tiki house and Hicklin house in the Tres Cocos area. I keep seeing online something about a new Tiki bar in the town area.

The Palapa Bar has moved to a great location in Boca Del Rio on the Wet Willy's Dock. Scott and Jodie did not miss a beat with the move!

Pacos Tiki Bar is just north of Grane Caribe and is super cool.
Follow the signs and turn east just north of Aji.
Excellent food drinks and fun.

Bummer, I had made reservations to rent the Hicklin house right next to the Tiki Maya house on the beach in front of the Tiki Maya Palapa Bar. I did not realize that the palapa bar out front was no longer there. I was looking forward to having a week on the beach with a fun place right out of my front door. Has nobody done anything with the old Palapa Bar or is it just sitting there empty.

Tiki Maya is open and has food and great drinks!

are you speaking of the Tiki Maya bar out from The Tiki Maya house? Just trying to be clear if we are talking about the new Palapa bar or the old one That was up near the Tres Cocos area. we are renting the Hicklin house on the beach next door to the Tiki Maya house.

Is this bar still open or is it empty. I know the original owners moved, but did anyone take over or reopen the bar and grill? Thanks

New Palapa Bar destroyed original one survived
