From Belmopan...
The night rain in Toledo and the Yucatan looks like it is drying up. There is virtually no high level cloud around, just the remaining outpourings from last nights flare-ups. There is very little rain or cloud in the Caribbean at present. We are right now, going through our 2nd mid Summer, that is the Sun which has been north of us, is now crossing over Belize and will be moving south of us over the next few weeks. It is this that tends to make August the second warmest period of the year and often results in less rain than June, July and September.
Looks like today will be mainly sunny once the early clouds have reduced, then white clouds building during the morning, reducing this afternoon, only a small chance of any rain showers.
