Presently there is little or no rain in any part of Belize, but there are isolated showers out there, some moving our way. But the biggest change to our weather is probably going to come from what was INVEST 99L which appears to have split in two. Part is following up behind where they say the low pressure centre is, north of eastern Cuba, as it was doing yesterday. But a large part of 99L weather has split of and coming across the Caribbean almost straight at Belize, with multiple ITCZ swell-ups, presumably causing heavy rain in the Caribbean and over Jamaica. The Caribbean wind yesterday had moved from its normal easterly, to coming from the ENE, this morning it is almost due North. It is probably this, that has caused that cloud from 99L to break away and come our way, we will know what it is like tomorrow, not today. . . Last night and still this morning, we are getting the SW surface Tiger wind over Belize. The high level clouds are spill off from flare-ups in Honduras, some of witch is clashing with the Caribbean wind from the north and producing cloud and rain, just off PG.
Looks like today will be largely sunny with clouds building later, there is a high chance of some scattered showers, particularly in the south.
