The early morning very heavy rain 66mm ( 2½" ) was more than would normally be expected from an ITCZ swell-up, which had come up from Honduras, it was aggravated by cloud still coming down from Florida. That is still forming heavier than normal clouds out at sea, which could bring more rain in later today.
That radar rain picture was 6 am this morning, but there is still patches of rain out at sea now. The NE Florida cloud is bucking up against the regular tropical weather over Honduras and the west Caribbean.
Looks like today will have plenty of sunshine, but also white clouds, but there is a big chance of patches of rain later, some could be heavy.
