Honeymoon time 6/3-6/10!!!!! Please help me...We want cold local beer & food, to meet great people, and listen to local music, with some occasional beach rest. I have no idea where to stay, would like to have a hut on the beach not too far from town.

my suggestion? Check out Ramon's or Banana Beach... Ramon's is very romantic and has a great private beach - in fact, it's probably the best strip of beach on the island because they've added sand to keep the kelp and seaweed from growing near the shore. There is a bar there, and a beautiful swimming pool, surrounded by a deck, where, during the evening you can sip on a cocktail or enjoy dinner outside by the ocean. I HIGHLY suggest (if you can make it) to be there during a full moon... the ocean literally glimmers! Bannana beach is also very beautiful... although they don't have a restaurant, it was recently remodeled and has an incredible view from the pool out onto the ocean through an archway. Many couples actually choose to have their weddings on the island! Good luck and Congratulations!

How about Holiday House or Rubie's[Ruby's] if you are on a smaller budget. That would leave more dinero for tours, and the rest. Right in town and while not secluded or particularly romantic, it fits your description. If you are a guy, ASK YOUR BRIDE TO BE FOR HER PREFERENCES. This is what is called a Pearl of Wisdom. Even if it is a surprise, ask her her needs and wants. Example, she may really want a pool or AC.
