From Belmopan...
This morning, the few normal height clouds, 2 - 3 thousand ft are are coming from the WSW, not the Caribbean, although I expect as the day warms up, the normal Caribbean easterly winds will take over. . . This is not the "Tiger" wind which is only surface, but higher with a few white/grey puffy clouds. . . . . The Caribbean winds follow the Sun. . . There was no sun last night. There is a lot of high level cloud coming down from the NNE from Cuba, and some at a different height coming in from the NNW, the spill off from the intense ITCS swell-up activity last night. There is easterly Caribbean winds out over the Caribbean, which is clashing with that NNE wind, resulting a lot of cloud off Honduras, which could result in rain coming into Belize later today.
Looks like today will be largely sunny, white clouds developing from the Caribbean, but a significant chance of some scattered rain showers.
