There were many ITCZ swell-ups all along the western side of Central America last night and one very significant one on our southern border, that caused a lot of rain over most of southern Belize and a few straggling showers in parts of central Belize, most of this is now drying up. The easterly Caribbean winds are bringing clouds fairly fast, over Belize and at the same time, there is a strong surface SW "Tiger" wind.
That Atlantic active area has now been categorised as a Tropical Depression TD TWELVE is now coming our way. . . Not yet clear exactly where it will go, but could well come into the Caribbean as a Tropical Storm by Tuesday next week.
Looks like today will again be a mixture of sunshine and cloud, with a possibility of more rain.
