From Belmopan...
The easterly Caribbean winds are back, there is still air coming down from the NNE and a cold front coming down with it, across the Gulf at the same time there is a very significant amount of tropical air coming up from the south bringing a lot of cloud and together with an ITCZ swell-up just off the coast of Belize, causing a lot of rain, most out at sea, but some in coastal parts mainly central and now northern Belize. That TS NICOLE is still getting nearer to Haiti, but they are predicting it will now start moving away to the north and develop into a Hurricane in the Atlantic. The HURRICANE MATTHEW is now off shore near New York, they say still Cat.1, although to me it is almost just cloud going out in the Atlantic, towards Europe, but fading fast.
Today looks like significant cloud, some sun coming through later, could still be some rain showers anywhere in Belize after the existing rain in the north has stopped.
