Tonight, skies will be partly cloudy and showers and thunderstorms will be isolated, except for a few more over the south. Winds: North to northeast 5-15 knots. Marine Forecast: Today: Winds: N-NE 5-15 kt.; seas: Light chop; waves: 1-2 ft.; a few showers and isolated thunderstorms, decreasing. Tomorrow: Winds: N-NW becmg N-NE 5-10 kt.; seas: Light chop; waves: 1-2 ft.; isolated showers and isolated thunderstorms, increasing. On Ambergris Caye this morning the sea is calm and our breeze is from the NNW at 5 mph. Our expected high is 87.

From Belmopan...

The Caribbean air is continuing to stream down from the NNE and is doing some clashing with tropical air off Honduras, but this is less than was happening yesterday. There are some scattered rain showers out at sea, and could be a few on land later. At present there is a SW "Tiger" surface wind.

Looks like today could be a little similar to yesterday but less rain and more sunshine.

The weather in the western Caribbean is rather unsettled at present, and likely to continue like this for the next few days, probably through to Sunday and possibly Monday. . . There are many areas of sunshine, but also many significant patches of cloud, some of which are causing rain, and ITCZ type swell-ups around Jamaica, which appear to be keeping the west Caribbean air rather moist and changeable. . . . Going from bright sunshine to white clouds, and sometimes heavy dark clouds with rain and can change in short notice.
