Is there a speech/language pathologist (or speech therapist) on the island who might be willing to evaluate a five year old?

Probably not, but check with Stella Maris school in BC. They do the work and will know.

There hasn't been in the past but I believe some of the newly established volunteer groups may be able to offer this service now. If I can find out the details I will post.
