wow! looks rough outside the reef!!!
The Caribbean winds are still from the NNE and the high level clouds from the SSW, they have been causing a fair amount of rain over the sea, and some in the high ground and mountains in central Belize. Right now little or no rain on land. There has been sort of three fronts come down, associated with cold fronts, the first cold air crossed Belize Friday night into Saturday, this is right now being followed by another wave, which is mainly causing a cloud front passing over Belize now, then the other cold front is in the Gulf, almost touching the Yucatan and should get to us tonight. Sometimes we get a wave of warm air as a cold front approaches, but then the cooler air at surface level, usually arrives ahead of the cold front lines on the NOAA satellite maps.
Looks like it will be a sunny day after the present cloud has moved further south, then white clouds building, probably no more rain on land today.
