I think it rained a foot over the last two days....

On Ambergris Caye this morning the North wind is blowing at 10 mph. After a night of hard rain we have some flooding. There is a small craft advisory.

We have had a little over 3" in the past 48 hours up north in Basil Jones. Great time to garden!

Between showers I took the time to replant/move more than a dozen Fishermen Tobacco (Tournefortia gnaphalodes) seedlings on the beach. Hoping they will like their new home and grow in to help stabilize the sand.

The worst of the rain is now passing, still significant rain effecting southern Belize land and sea, and some still effecting Belize City and other parts of central Belize, it it is reducing, the worst of it has passed.

Looks like this morning will remain cloudy, and with some more rain in parts, but there could be some sun this afternoon.
