ADO, the Mexican bus line that operates between Belize and Mexico has added new and upgraded buses to its fleet that operates between both countries.

ADO made the announcement on November 23, 2016 during a meeting at the Belize City bus terminal. According to ADO, the new buses are in a better quality and condition to make travel between both countries more safe and comfortable.

ADO also said that the prices and existing routes will remain the same.

ADO currently operates two different services out of Belize City. The first service is called "The Hospital Route" which starts in Belize City and stops in Orange Walk and Corozal with final destination in Merida, Mexico where the bus makes courtesy stops at the most important hospitals in the city with its last stop at the Merida's bus terminal. The return portion is for the same stops.

The second service departs Belize City with stops in Orange Walk, Corozal, Playa del Carmen, Cancun International Airport and with the final destination at the Cancun bus terminal. The return portion is for the same stops; however the bus this time stops in Tuluum.

ADO started its international transportation service in Belize in 2011 and since then thousands of travelers have benefitted from its service.
