The San Pedro Town Council's Co-Ed Softball Tournament 2017 closed with a bang! After weeks of hitting the bases, on Sunday, April 9, 2017, the Hon. Louis Sylvestre was the host of the Championship games.
Playing for the big win were Quality Reef vs. Extreme who battled it out for the 3rd place prize followed by San Pedro High School vs. Sea Star Dive Shop for the 1st Place prize!
After a few hits and misses, Quality Reef came out victorious against Extreme and took the 3rd place prize.
And for the big win, SPHS and Sea Star had to battle it out on a best out of three: Sea Star winning the first round with a score of 14 and SPHS with 10, on the second round SPHS took an easy win with 12 and Sea Star with 1....but it was Sea Star that took the big win by winning the third game with a score of 4 and SPHS with 1.
After the cheers and applauses, the teams gathered for the trophy presentation. Special mentions go to:
