We are pleased to announce the opening of the Victoria Peak Trail for 2017.

Victoria Peak Natural Monument was declared a Protected Area in 1998 for its uniqueness and aesthetic qualities. In addition, the protection status ensures the survival of one of Belize's few tracks of elfin woodland forest. The spectacular journey to the summit of Victoria Peak (1,120 meters) entails a 27 kilometer hike through the jungles of the Cockscomb Basin Wildlife Sanctuary, culminating with an impressive vista of the Cockscomb Basin, in the Maya Mountains.

Please contact the Belize Audubon Society to register your group; for more information on the dates, cost and logistics; ask for Ms. Delia Noble.
