Anybody know if the currency exhange booth is open on Sundays in the Plaza Las Americas?
What about the Hustlers at the border and which has the better rate to change Belize to Pesos?

I've never used the exchange booth at the Mall. I've only used the money changers on Av. Heroes, and I don't remember them being open on Sundays.

The money changers at the border are usually there every day.

A few years ago, I did a comparison and there was no significant difference between the rates at the border and the rates at the money changers on Av. Heroes.

The money exchange guys are now on the Belize side of the border crossing not in the parking lot when exiting immigration. I got 19 pesos for 1 USD 2 weeks ago.
