Tropical Weather Outlook:
THe 2016 hurricane season ended Nov. 30. Tropical cyclone formation is not expected anytime soon.
There are a number of larger cloud areas in the Caribbean ENE winds and that has, together with influence from the cold front, resulted in rain in most parts of Belize over night and some continuing this morning, mainly two bands, one over central Belize the other over southern Belize. The cold front, as such is not coming nearer, but folding round its self, but is influencing our weather for the next day or two.
Looks as if today will be mainly cloudy, with significant chances of rain in many parts of Belize.
Temperatures in Belmopan :
( Coast usually cooler, hills even cooler )
Fri max. 30°C 85°F Last night min. 23°C 73°F
The Satellite picture, shows the rain clouds over Belize, but only a few left in the Caribbean. So there could still be a few rain showers, reducing numbers and amounts of rain later today, and increasing amounts of sunshine as the day warms up. The rain Radar is still stuck on 07:45 this morning.
