Good Evening San Pedro,

My name is Carter and I used to live on the island of San Pedro with my mother and grandmother when I was a young boy. It's been quite a while, but I've known that my mother Celeste was quite active in the local community as a musician, bartender, hospitality guru and even a volunteer firefighter. My grandmother Elaine was also quite esteemed in the town for her wise words and wonderful stories. Both have passed in the years to come, and I was stranded in America, far away from my spiritual home at a young age. I've been through some hard knocks, but I'm proud to say that I'm 21 years old, a Senior at the University of South Alabama and I'm on track to graduate in 5 years like most normal college students. My degree will be in the field of Hospitality and Tourism Management, with a specialization in Music Technology. Is there anyone who possibly knew my mother and grandmother out there? I'm trying to build connections and make way for my return and possibly get a job when I make my way down there. Wow, my image of you is still a little boy. I knew Celeste well. You and I spent some time together during the hurricane when she was gone. You may remember using my handheld radio to try and call her in the aftermath of the hurricane. It was hopeless to contact her with the radio but seem to take your mind off the storm and being without Mama. PS ....... Elaine was the Carol Burnett of San Pedro. Bright, FUNNY, energetic and able to light up the room or elicit guffaws with her amazing facial expressions. We adored her!
