Hello all,

My wife and I are visiting Ambergris from May 25 to June 6. We are both of East Indian descent, Canadian citizens and well travelled. We are considering Belize (Ambergris Caye to be specific) as our future home, and this is our first trip to Belize to really get a feel of the land.

We would love to meet with any expats or locals who can help us get the most out of our trip - for fun and for information gathering. We would like to know what the investment climate is like especially in real estate, what the regular life entails, and just socialize with fun people. We are also looking for a place to stay during our visit, so any recommendations are welcome.
