On Ambergris Caye this morning the wind is from the East at 10 mph. It's a sunny day but would trade it for one of these isolated showers rumored to be around. The expected high is 85 f. The island is dusty dry.

Complicated weather right now. The easterly Caribbean winds are over Belize, but not down at ground level, you can see white, grey, dark clouds moving from the east, but at the same time, there are other clouds a bit higher, coming down from Cuba, from the NE causing patches of significant cloud. These two, together, are causing isolated patches of rain in many parts of Belize, some small, heavy spots.

Looks like today will be a mixture of cloud, sun, rain patches, mainly cloud, but more sunshine this afternoon.
