OP elbert	May Weather on Ambergris Caye Belize Summertime's warmer, calm water is preferred by many divers. Average water temperature around Belize's Barrier Reef is 82f. May is still solidly in the Belize Dry Season and has significantly lower rainfall than the rest of the year. When rain does come it is usually in mild, short bursts.
