“Pataki Full” (1991) is a compilation of seven short stories written by Governor General of Belize H.E. Sir Colville Young.
In the book, which was published in September 1991, Sir Colville Young details first-hand insight into the reality of Belizean society using his wit and satire to highlight lifestyles and socio-cultural aspects of that time.
In 2015, Sir Colville celebrated a historic and notable milestone when he officially launched a Chinese translation of “Pataki Full” while on a visit to Taiwan.
Sir Colville Young has also authored a series of other stories and books in Belize. His play “Riding Haas” is featured in an anthology of plays titled “Ping Wing Juk Me” (1998).
