OP Marty	Island mothers celebrates with a night of comedy and entertainment Maria Elena Alamilla Named Mother Of The Year On Saturday, May 6th, the San Pedro Town Council hosted its annual Mother's Day Extravaganza. Hundreds of island mothers converged at the Honorable Louis Sylvestre Sports Complex for a night filled of great food, drinks, games, and comedy. After music from San Pedro's very own Rompe Raja, dance performances from the San Pedro Dance Academy and the Yaka's Elite Dancers, Belizean Comedian Jennifer Burrowes delighted the crowd with her stand-up comedy.
