In California the Animal Control Agency gave away mosquito fish in the spring. I always got some for my fountain/pond and never had a problem with the bugs. Has anyone ever hatched these fish here?

In common local parlance, "Mosquito Fish" are coils that are lit that repel mossies.

I have mosquito fish in my pond. And you can get them locally. They are very hardy.
