From Belmopan...
We are well in the tropical weather area right now. Several very active ITCZ ( Intertropical_Convergence_Zone ) flair-ups occurred last night, helped by the Pacific winds rising up over the Guatamala mountains, that brought very significant rain to much of central Guatamala last night and came very close to Cayo before dying out. Presently there is very little Caribbean easterly wind, but here is some warm air coming up from the south and a cold front in the Gulf. No rain showing up on the radar at present.
Looks like today will be a mixture of cloud and sunshine, with humid air from the south, there could be some rain.
