On Ambergris Caye this morning the wind has hit 23 mph and the sea is rough. A good day to stay tied to the dock. Our expected high is 87 f. Still no rain.

From Belmopan...

The new Belize Met office Web site worked for a while yesterday but is down again. The US Navy is still stuck on midnight Wednesday. What is wrong with these people. ? My beetle is still asleep so I have walked round the house looking and smelling the air. I got no rain last night, but there is a lot of mid level and particularly high level cloud over Belize, associated with the large Tropical weather system TD TWO-E over southern Mexico.
