From Belmopan...

It may feel odd but so far, this year has been significantly cooler than the typical other years.

The Typical line is the dotted Red line. The heavy red line is the smoothed, 31 day running average day maximum temperatures. The thin red line are the actual individual day temperatures.

Night time minimums are more or less on the Typical line

This is crazy, as we go into the rainy season, the US Navy is still stuck on Wednesday, the Belize Met Office stuck on Friday and now NOAA stuck on Saturday. How on earth are we supposed to check the weather. ? I have phoned the Met office and they have given me another web address :

Looks like today will be largely cloudy, a little sunshine in places, a chance of rain.

Temperatures in Belmopan :
( Coast usually cooler, hills even cooler ) Sat max. 32°C 89°F Last night min. 25°C 75°F

from Belmopan....

The heavy storm is just starting to ease up over Belmopan now.
But I expect some rain to continue for another hour.

I have just had 19mm ( 3/4" ) of rain in the last 3/4 hour.
