From Belmopan...

Strange morning, no rain within 400 km but a foggy start to the day, but there is high cloud covering north Belize and the southern coastal areas.

I think we can probably say the rainy season has started for western Belize. I got over 30mm ( 1" ) yesterday.

NOAA and Navy still not working.

Too early with limited information, but I expect significant sunshine today, but thee will be large patches of high cloud, white clouds developing this morning, probably little or no rain today.

Temperatures in Belmopan :
( Coast usually cooler, hills even cooler ) Sun max. 32°C 90°F Last night min. 25°C 76°F

From Belmopan...

I have just recorded 38mm (1.5") in north Belmopan, more than yesterdays rain. And more coming now.

You can see the ITCZ Swell-up in the north part of the large cloud and a small one further south in the middle of the high cloud.
