From Belmopan...

Almost clear skies this morning, a few high level thin wispy clouds. I had not seen that large ITCS Swell-up over western central Belize going to happen this time yesterday morning, it just developed out of nothing due to the atmospheric conditions and the hot sun. We are in the Rainy season, which I am saying has started for at least central Belize, the north and south of Belize have had some significant rain over the past 2 weeks, not central Belize has. At present we have near clear skies, no rain anywhere in Belize, NOAA having another fit, stuck on midnight, but the Belize Met office earlier, got a reasonable up to date picture.

Looks like today will start off very sunny and dry, but there could be another ITCZ sudden swell-up out of the blue like yesterday. The Met office say " a few showers or isolated thunderstorms developing inland this afternoon. " but they said that for yesterday. North Belmopan eventually got 52mm ( 2" ) of rain yesterday.

( Coast usually cooler, hills even cooler ) Mon max. 33°C 92°F Last night min. 26°C 78°F
