On Ambergris Caye this morning we're getting a much needed rain. Happy plants and animals. I doubt we'll get our expected high of 90 f. The wind is from the Southeast

From Belmopan...

The has been overnight rain in many parts, but that has now moved out over the sea, a new area down south is drying up. The has been a general cloud movement towards the NNE, so the ITCZ Swell-ups were mainly just off shore. Still no indication of the easterly Caribbean winds returning, which are presently being diverted up towards Cuba, by the SW mid-level winds.

Looks as if the cloud will thin to give a reasonable bit of sunshine, but there could be swell-ups this afternoon with possible rain.
