From Belmopan...

Relatively little action near Belize, there was a flair-up over southern Belize last night and a small patch to the north, and some rain, near Belize city for a short time. There is a fair bit of thin high level cloud around. The easterly Caribbean wind is starting now. There appears, to me, to be a potential tropical storm starting in the Pacific south of Mexico, the hurricane weather people have not, as yet, spotted this. It may not develop, and poses no threat to Belize, but could effect our weather.

Looks like today will be largely sunny with some high level cloud and white clouds developing this morning, no indication of rain.
