On Ambergris Caye this morning we have a hint of a breeze from the N-NE and the sea is flat calm. We got a lot of much needed rain last night. The expected high is 88 f.

From Belmopan...

Unstable weather at present, patches of rain on and off in any parts. The normal cloud at present, is coming from the WNW, with SW surface wind, as I say, odd weather. The surface wind in San Pedro is from the NE and in PG it is from the SW.

Looks like today will be an odd mixture of cloud, patches of rain and some sunshine later, this could change quickly.

At present, there is no indication that this is anything other than the fact that we are in the Wet season and there is ITCZ activity around us. The main rain areas are in Guatamala, just developing there, not moving in any particular direction. But things can and always changing, I expect rain over night, in any part of Belize. There is a line of ITCZ swell-ups to the south of Belize. The Caribbean has already pushed a cloud front from the ENE over Belize during the day, which is clashing with the high level winds from the SW.
