On Ambergris Caye this morning we have a wind from the East at 12 mph. and the sea is choppy. The expected high is 87 f.

There is still more heavy rain and thunder patches coming in, but much less than yesterday. It is also effecting central and southern Belize, northern Belize is reasonably clear of this storm weather, caused by wet Caribbean air and major clashing with high level winds from Mexico, causing many ITCZ swell-ups in our area, very active, just south of Mexico in the Pacific and over Panama.

Looks like another patchy rainy day, with odd chinks of sunshine occasionally, improving by this evening.

"The Ministry of National Emergency Management informs that the NEMO Toledo Emergency Operations Center (EOC) has been partially activated as coordinators monitor rising waters of the Moho River and the Temash River.

There is flooding on the road at Jacintoville. Only high vehicles are being allowed to pass at this time. Police personnel are on hand to regulate the situation. Other rivers in Toledo are also being checked for possible flooding.

All residents of rural Toledo in these areas are asked to stay informed as NEMO will bring provide updates and advisories where necessary. "
