13 year old Faye Lin Cannon was physically and sexually abused before she died. American Nationals detained for questioning. The incident occurred at a hotel a mile and a half north of San Pedro Town.
According to the mother she complained of difficulty breathing on Monday, July 3rd. She was pronounced dead at 8:57 a.m. The body had bruises on the arms, legs and a swelling in the right side of her head which appeared to be a cut wound. The postmortem examination showed the child had been "physically and sexually abused". Both parents have been detained.
