Is there anywhere to stay North into Mexico accessible by golf cart? Wondering about options besides paying renewal of passport after 30 days.

If you are not pulling our legs with the question .......the answer is not unless you get one of Simon's monster vehicles (in which case you would need to jump through some hoops at customs and immigration before hand)
More details - golf carts are only considered road-worthy on AC and CC. On AC (closest to Mexico) there is no proper trail all the way to the northern boarder and the boarder itself is a channel of water with no bridge.

If you are serious about going up to Mexico for a brief stay, take a boat from SP to Chetumal. And from there maybe a bus (there are great busses) to Merida. You will have a lovey adventure.

not pulling your leg - but the cost ends up being more than the stamp on passport. Have driven North before - wasn't sure how much further to Mexico and if was accessible. Thank you.
