San Pedro Pirates Celebrate first away win

The San Pedro Pirates Football Club travelled to Punta Gorda Town, Stann- Creek District to face the Freedom Fighters at the Victor Sanchez Union Stadium on Sunday, October 22nd. During the 11th week of the Premiere League of Belize (PLB), both Pirates and Freedom Fighters played their best during the tight match, but at the final whistle it was a victory for the island team.

The current standings of the PLB has Belmopan Bandits with 28 points, followed by Verdes F.C with 23 points. Police United F.C have 19 points, and Belize Defence Force have 16 points. The San Pedro Pirates F.C have 14 points. While Placencia Assassins and Dangriga Wagiya F.C have 10 points each. At the bottom of the chart is Freedom Fighters F.C with three points.

The San Pedro Pirates will be hosting the Dangriga Wagiya Football Club on Sunday, October 29th at the Ambergris Stadium in San Pedro Town. The game is scheduled to start at 3PM, all islanders are invited to come out and support the home team.

San Pedro Pirates crushes Dangriga’s Wagiya F.C. 5-0

The San Pedro Pirates continue to excel, defeating Dangriga’s Wagiya 5-0 during the 12th week of the Premiere League of Belize (PLB). Held on Sunday, October 29th at the Ambergris Stadium in San Pedro Town, the island team played a stunning game before a large crowd of supporters, comfortably adding three more points to their rankings.

With this recent win, the Pirates have moved up to fourth place in the PLB with a total of 17 points. Other games played during the 12th week of the PLB included BDF against Police United, which ended in a 1-1 draw. Verdes F. C and Belmopan Bandits also tied 1-1, while Freedom Fighters crushed Placencia Assassins 3-0. The San Pedro Pirates next face Police United F.C on Sunday, November 5th at the Isidoro Beaton Stadium in the Capital City of Belmopan. The game has been scheduled to start at 5PM.

San Pedro Pirates rise to third place in the Premier League of Belize

The San Pedro Pirates won yet another crucial away game against Police United F.C 2-1 on Sunday, November 5th, at the Isidoro Beaton Stadium in Belmopan City. With this victory, the island team has now moved to third place in the league’s rankings after acquiring three more additional points.

The Pirates, who a few weeks ago were in seventh place are now two ranks away from first place. This is an impressive improvement and has caught the attention of many football gurus in the Premier League of Belize (PLB). With one more week before the season rolls into its semi-finals, the Pirates are now obliged to defend their third place spot on Sunday, November 12th, when they host Verdes F.C. The game will take place at the Ambergris Stadium and is scheduled to start at 3PM sharp.

Despite losing 2-1 against Verdes, San Pedro Pirates are in for the playoffs after securing the fourth place in the Premier League of Belize!

The San Pedro Pirates Football Club hosted Cayo’s Verdes Football Club on Sunday, November 12th, at the Ambergris Stadium in San Pedro Town. It was the last week of regular season games for the Premiere League of Belize (PLB), before the semi-finals begin. The Pirates and Verdes had a tough match, but when the final whistle was blown, it was 2-1 victory for the Verdes. However, despite the loss, the island team managed to squeak into the semi-finals thanks to goal differentials between Police United FC.

The first semi-final game between the Pirates and Bandits will be held at the Ambergris Stadium on Sunday, November 19th in San Pedro Town. Kick-off is at 3PM, and all of San Pedro is invited to come out and support its island team.

San Pedro Pirates lose first semifinal match against Belmopan Bandits

The Belmopan Bandits defeated the San Pedro Pirates Football Club on Sunday, November 19th at the Ambergris Stadium in San Pedro Town during the first round of the Premier League of Belize (PLB) semi-finals. While the San Pedro Pirates did their best to properly represent the island, in the end, it was a clear 6-0 victory for the visiting team.

For their second match in the semi-finals, the San Pedro Pirates will be traveling to Belmopan City, Cayo District on Sunday, November 26th, to face the Belmopan Bandits at the Isidoro Beaton Stadium. San Pedro Pirates road to PLB championship comes to an end

With a 3-1 loss against the Belmopan Bandits on the second round of the Premiere League of Belize (PLB) on Saturday, November 25th the San Pedro Pirates Football Club hopes for a first-year championship came to an end. The Pirates are the island’s first semi-professional football club and over the season overcame many odds to land in the semi-finals. Managing to squeak by one goal aggregate, the Pirates certainly proved that determination can take you places.

The San Pedro Pirates will be playing their first match of the new season of the PLB on January 12, 2018 against the Police United Football Club. The game is scheduled to start at 8pm at the Ambergris Stadium in San Pedro Town. All Islanders are invited to come out and support the island team.
