The Traffic Dept advises the public that Thursday the 17th August, Angel Coral Street will be closed to vehicle traffic. This is to allow for WASA to carryout some work. Access to Super Buy will be allowed from Caribena St but no vehicles will be able to travel south past Super Buy. Please use alternate routes and allow extra time for your journey. We would also inform you that BTL workers are busy installing the new Fiber Optic cable at numerous locations, Please slow down and take extra care where they are working. Damn--- this is about Back Street, right? These new names make me nuts.

All of this work being done is progress, and agree that this with no doubt needs to be done, but what's so shameful is the alternative beach-front route. The erosion due to the heavy traffic is being ignored, with no plan to keep it maintained. It's a disgrace that the city knowingly knew this would happen, but yet nothing is being done about it !

Access is allowed to Super Buy from Pelican Street side, Please follow diversion signs, it is only one block that is closed. Remember SUPER BUY is open and you can reach the store from the North side.
