Today I got a call from SAGA. They wanted to tell me that I should come in to pick up a gift certificate from a wonderful local restaurant as a thank you for fostering two dogs during TS Franklin. I didn't do it for a gift ...... I'm sure none of us who fostered ever thought of anything other than helping the animals ......... the fact somebody is giving back this way makes my heart so full.
With all the other crap and difficulties we deal with, I'd like to remind people that THIS sort of thing is the heart of San Pedro.
I LOVE THIS TOWN.

Me too - what a nice surprise. I took one dog and it ended up being only one day. In the future I would encourage more people to do this. You even get to choose the dog you want to take care of.
