At 3:00 am, Tropical Storm Harvey was centered about 15 miles NNE of Port Oconnor Texas, moving SE at 3 mph with maximum sustained winds of 40 mph. Also at 3:00am, Potential Tropical Cyclone TEN was 185 miles SSW of Charleston, North Carolina with maximum winds of 35 mph and was stationary . Elsewhere in the North Atlantic, Caribbean Sea and the Gulf of Mexico, tropical cyclone formation is not expected during the next 48 hours.
On Ambergris Caye this morning the wind is from the East-Southeast at 10 mph. George Eastman would have described the sky today as Cloudy-Bright. The expected high is 89 f.
Relatively calm in our area, the Caribbean wind coming in from the ESE with thin high level from the NNE. There is a fair amount of cloud developing in the Atlantic we must watch and some even in the eastern Caribbean.
